WPBLOG accepting sponsors

The Unofficial WordPerfect Weblog (WPBLOG) is now accepting paid advertisements targeted towards office workers and people who use word processing software.

Ad copy and graphics to be approved for suitability by the owner of WPBLOG.

The sum paid for the ad will be agreed upon between the owner of WPBLOG and the advertiser.

The terms of paid advertising on WPBLOG are still in development, but basically consist of:

  • A 125 pixel by 125 pixel graphic or text ad located in the sidebar on the main page and all archive pages.
  • Editorial type copy and graphic in a blog entry. The blog entry ad will specifically be labeled as a paid advertisement. It will be displayed without comments or trackbacks, unless the advertiser otherwise specifies.
  • Only one paid ad per week. Approved ads will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Ads in the sidebar will run for a period of seven days, and be renewable in seven day increments.
  • Blog entry ads will remain at the top of the main index page for a period of seven days, and be renewable in seven day increments.
  • After seven days, the editorial ad copy will be removed from the top of the main page and placed in regular archives.
  • Only one advertiser will be accepted per week.
