Law office management software
A fascinating blog article from a South Carolina attorney describing what he wants in case management software:
I particularly appreciated this part:
Reports – The program should be able to tell me what is going on in the firm. This means what is going on with the case, what happened in the office that day, what is getting done and what is not getting done .... (emphasis added)
As someone who worked as a legal secretary for about 30 years, I can't begin to stress how important that last part is.
I'm bookmarking this for those occasions when questions come up about law office technology from lawyers and legal staff.
