Open a password protected file in WordPerfect

In response to a recent question about opening password protected files in WordPerfect, it is essential that you have the password to the file.

  • In the file directory, click the file you wish to open.
  • Type the password in the field. You'll notice each character of the password is represented by an asterisk (*). If someone is looking over your shoulder, they won't be able to see the password.
