Mark your place in a long document

An easy multitasking aid for people who work in busy offices is WordPerfect's QuickMark function. If you've ever found yourself called away from reading or editing a lengthy document, or had to shut down for the night in the middle of a project, you want to be able to pick right up where you left off. Instead of having to scroll through your document looking for your place, WordPerfect makes it easy with QuickMark.

First, put your cursor at the point you want to come back to.

Long method:

To set a Quickmark, in the main menu bar, click
> Tools
> Bookmark
> Set QuickMark [button]
To come back to the Quickmark, click
> Tools
> Bookmark
> Find QuickMark [button]

Short and easy keystroke method:

To set a Quickmark
CTRL SHIFT Q
To come back to the Quickmark
CTRL Q

Whenever a new Quickmark is created, the previous one is deleted.

This Quickmark method works in WP 9, 10, 11, and 12.
