Online file storage solutions

This is for future reference purposes only, since I haven't had a chance to check out any particular online storage services.

There are 13 different companies mentioned in the article. Some are quite new. And, some offer both private and public storage options.

As a backup method, I don't know if there will be (or is) a huge market for storing files online, especially now that the price of external hard drives seems to be going down.

As far as online file storage goes, personally, I'm not inclined to do it. However, I can think of few instances where storing files for public consumption could be put to good use.
