Turn off SpeedLinks in WordPerfect

From the Department of Simple Solutions to Major Complaints (recently overheard).

If you have no need for clickable URLs in your WordPerfect document, simply turn them off by navigating in the main tool bar to Tools > QuickCorrect > SpeedLinks. Then, uncheck "Format words as hyperlinks when you type them." This will keep URLs from being underlined and turning blue.

I'm pretty sure this works in WordPerfect versions 11, 12 and X3.

WordPerfect calls them SpeedLinks. Everyone else calls them hyperlinks. Sometimes they're called autolinks.

Definition of URL: Uniform Resource Locator; web address; internet address; sometimes also called URI.
