WordPerfect article on Tucows

The editorial blog of Tucows.com, the website widely known for downloads, among other things, posted an article by Corel Corporation entitled, "Shareware Spotlight Featuring WordPerfect Office."

With larger vendors developing office systems for the enterprise market, WordPerfect Office 12 offers feature-rich, Microsoft-compatible functionality to customers seeking a more cost-effective office suite. Below is an overview of the new and noteworthy features included in WordPerfect Office 12.

The article then goes on to list many of WordPerfect's features with special emphasis on Microsoft Word compatibility.

I never really thought of WordPerfect as being a shareware program. But, I suppose the fact that it offers a free 30 day trial download qualifies it as such. Good job, Corel and Tucows, to get people thinking about WordPerfect.
