E-mail tips
Guy Kawasaki, famed author and speaker, sets out 12 - 13 - 14 essential e-mail rules in, The Effective Emailer.
One item I would add is to carefully consider the number of topics you want to discuss in your e-mail. Specifically, I'm thinking about e-mail to and from law offices, but it can also be applied to other organizations.
For instance, you probably don't want to discuss both the Smith case and the Jones case in the same e-mail, even though both parties to the e-mail may be involved in both cases. And, if there are two different matters in say, the Smith case, limit the e-mail to just one matter.
This may increase the number of e-mails in your inbox. But, it aids in the organizational process.
And, should you ever be required to disclose a particular e-mail to yet another party, they wouldn't become privy to other matters you might be working on.

Hello. I like the emailer tips he gave. Yet, I seem to enjoy everything all the advice he gives. I recently attended a presentation on entrepreneurship. He offered some great advice, I took notes here: http://e-bizz.blogspot.com/2006/02/10-steps-of-entrepreneurship-guy.html
Let me know what you think!
