Word Perfect X3 is in the house
I’m giddy with excitement. I just installed WordPerfect X3 on my home computer.
I retained my old installation of WP 12, even though I probably didn’t need to do that. But, I still have some projects I’m doing for other people in WP 12, and a few other things, including some open questions on this blog. So, it seemed like a good idea.
As is my usual protocol when doing a new installation of WordPerfect , the first thing I did was set the default file locations for my word processing files and backups. Then, I set my default document styles. Finally, I turned on reveal codes. So far, so good.
Also installed were Presentations X3, Quattro Pro X3, and WordPerfect Mail.
I’m especially excited to work with WordPerfect Mail. And, in particular, the RSS reader.
As I go through the various programs and discover new things, I’ll report back here.
