WPMail is not a news group reader
The title says it all.
I’ll have more on my first impressions of my recently installed WPMail in a later entry.
In the meantime, I’m a little disappointed that WPMail does not have the capability to read news groups.
Including this function would go a long way towards an incentive to ditch Outlook Express in favor of WPMail. As it is, users of WPMail will need to have another program if they want to read news groups. And, I suspect that most people, if given the choice between a program that handles e-mail and news groups over a program that only handles e-mail, will choose the former.
