Marketment goes with WordPerfect

This is big. The leading supplier of OEM software in Europe, Markement, has partnered with Corel to bundle WordPerfect Office X3 as its office productivity suite of choice, known as PCSuite 2006.

PCSuite is a software collection sold to resellers and in retail outlets across Europe. The partnership positions Markement as a key OEM bundling partner for Corel WordPerfect Office X3 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

French and German versions of WordPerfect will be released starting in April 2006.

Who got left out? Stiffed in the deal was StarOffice.

For reference purposes, OEM generally refers to the software that comes pre-installed with the purchase of a new computer. OEM actually means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
