Reformatting and reinstalling Windows XP
Let's hope the day never arrives when, for whatever reason, we have to reformat our hard drive and re-install Windows XP. Or, maybe it's already happened for some of us. Anyway, in case those fates ever do have their way with us, Lifehacker has step by step instructions on:

I should mention that I know at least one person who, instead of letting such technological nightmares make him crazy, takes the opportunity to actually go a little crazy.
