Review by Top Tech News of WPX3
Jack Germain for Top Tech News spent a week working with the standard version of WordPerfect X3.
After one week of putting this word-processing program through the paces for all of my writing tasks, I found myself preferring it to Microsoft Word. (Review: WordPerfect Office X3 Standard.)
In the end, he gave it a 4.5 out of 5. Pretty nice.

A review written by a sensible person who did a good job of reviewing. Good link.
Just installed X3. I love it; a long-overdue graphics upgrade, a delightful upgrade process (import old settings? Yes, thank you.), and the rare but annoying apostrophe spell-check bug seems to be dead and buried at last.
And I don't know if I'm just imagining things, but load-times are lightning fast.
Speaking of related products, Quattro is so much more intuitive than Excel. For example, enter data into new cells in Excel, then try the same thing in Quattro. Try to move your cursor around or do anything 'funny' in Excel and you'll be slapped. Or try 3+2 or any calculation in Excel. It doesn't calculate it if you don't put an equal sign in front of it. Irritating as heck. Neverthless, I don't really care about one spreadsheet over the other, it's the word processors that matter.
