What's happening with ODF

As far as we're concerned. Not much. I have a feeling it's going to be a long time before widespread use of the Open Document Format filters down to us everyday people. But, it will. In the meantime, we wait. And watch.

ArsTechnica reports "ODF Alliance" formed to support OpenDocument format. Okay. Even though Corel is not yet offering ODF support in WordPerfect, it's good to know it is part of the ODF Alliance. I'm sure this will somehow affect us later on. Standing by to see how.
