Debating Word versus WordPerfect

Law firm IT manager, Gregory Deatz, discusses the recent debate in a legal technology newsletter over Word versus WordPerfect and document styles versus reveal codes.

Personally, I like to see my codes. I recently opened a Word document that was e-mailed to me only find about 15 bold and underscore codes clustered together. Clearly, the person who originally created the document was very frustrated.

Greg also points out possible future word processing alternatives in OpenOffice and Writely, both of which I've discussed here.
