New GMail features
Last week, Google's Gmail team rolled out Gmail Labs. As of this writing there are 13 new features you can try. Some are very practical. Some are just fun. Like everything Gmail, these features are in beta and subject to change or removal.
To enable one or more feature in Gmail Labs, in the Gmail web interface, go to "Settings" and select "Labs." If you don't like a lab feature, just disable it in the same area.
So far, I'm trying Superstars, which adds additional icons instead of just the yellow star; and Signature Tweaks, which places your signature before the quoted text in a reply,
I was kind of excited to see the enhanced star feature rolled out since it was the suggestion I made on Googler Matt Cutts's blog back in January. Of course, I do acknowledge I wasn't the only one who wanted this feature. But, still...
